About the role

Alchemy London is looking for a reliable, efficient and highly organised Studio & Fulfilment Coordinator to independently manage the day-to-day fulfilment of customer orders and help keep our Richmond studio running smoothly.

This is a hands-on, independent role covering order packing, returns, stock organisation and fulfilment-related customer service. You will be responsible for ensuring orders are prepared accurately, returns are processed promptly and customers receive clear, helpful support.

It’s important to note that this is an operations-focused role rather than a creative fashion role. We’re looking for someone who genuinely enjoys practical, process-driven work and takes satisfaction in keeping things organised and running smoothly.

The role would suit someone who takes pride in doing things properly, works efficiently without close supervision and is looking to become a long-term, reliable part of the Alchemy London team, rather than using the role as a stepping stone into a creative position.

Key responsibilities

Order fulfilment

  • Pick, check, pack and prepare customer orders accurately.
  • Ensure each order is securely packaged in line with Alchemy London’s standards.
  • Monitor outstanding and pre-order purchases.
  • Keep customers informed about fulfilment delays or order issues.

Returns and exchanges

  • Receive, inspect and process customer returns and exchanges.
  • Prepare suitable returned items to go back into stock.
  • Ensure refunds and exchanges are processed promptly and accurately.
  • Identify recurring return reasons or product issues and report them to the wider team.

Fulfilment-related customer service

  • Respond to customer enquiries relating to orders, deliveries, returns, exchanges and refunds.
  • Help customers with delivery tracking and missing or delayed parcels.
  • Communicate with customers in a warm, clear and professional manner.
  • Liaise with delivery providers when necessary.
  • Escalate unusual or sensitive customer issues appropriately.

Stock and studio organisation

  • Keep our stockroom, packing station and wider studio clean, organised and presentable.
  • Maintain clear and consistent stock locations.
  • Carry out regular stock counts and investigate discrepancies.
  • Update stock records accurately.
  • Receive and check incoming stock and studio deliveries.
  • Fold, label, steam and organise garments when required.
  • Monitor packaging and fulfilment supplies and flag when more need to be ordered.

About you

We are looking for someone who is:

  • Extremely reliable, punctual and consistent.
  • Efficient and comfortable working at a steady pace.
  • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
  • Happy working independently and taking responsibility for daily tasks.
  • Comfortable learning new systems and processes.
  • Confident using a computer and responding to customer emails
  • Physically comfortable handling parcels, organising stock and working on their feet.
  • Able to travel reliably to our Richmond studio every weekday.

Previous experience in e-commerce fulfilment, fashion, customer service, Shopify or stock administration would be helpful, but training can be provided for the right person.
